Utah Food Bank Partners with O3World to Lose Weight for Food
Wednesday, November 19th, 2008SALT LAKE CITY – 11 November 2008 – 3000 lbs. of fat for 3000 lbs. of food. Starting November 20, O3World will begin a campaign to feed the hungry. Its goal is to raise the Utah Food Bank reserves pound for pound for each person taking off weight as part of O3World’s healthy nation challenge.

Barnes went on to say, “I think that it is fun to have the chance to skip a meal and give the proceeds to the Utah Food Bank. This is a really worthy cause and we want to be part of the solution.”
The Utah Food Bank is at historic lows due to the current economic situation and more people are looking to it for help each day. Individuals looking to shed some pounds and help a worthy cause are invited to attend O3World’s first local Skinny Party at the Salt Lake City Sheraton on November 20. This party will be hosted by doctors, nutritionists, and Utah’s own Heather Hansen from NBC’s The Biggest Loser.
